⁠Chicken Soto Collagen

Chicken Soto Collagen Recipe
The soul-warming Indonesian chicken soup. A comfort food that’s fresh, zesty, and loved by everyone. Now with an extra 5000mg collagen boost to nourish your body inside out.

All you need is:

  • 150 gr chicken breast or thigh
  • 600 ml water (for broth)
  • 1 stalk lemongrass (bruised)
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 cm galangal (bruised)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 small shallots, sliced
  • 1 boiled egg, halved
  • A handful of vermicelli (soaked in hot water until soft)
  • Bean sprouts (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 sachet or scoop (5 gram) of Collabit Pure Marine Collagen
  • Optional toppings: lime wedges, sambal, fried shallots, celery leaves


Steps to make:

  1. Boil chicken in water until cooked, then shred the meat. Keep the broth.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
  3. Add lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves. Stir briefly.
  4. Pour the sautéed spices into the chicken broth, add salt & pepper. Let simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  5. Prepare a serving bowl with vermicelli, shredded chicken, and bean sprouts.
  6. Pour hot broth over the bowl. Add half a boiled egg on top.
  7. Sprinkle in Collabit Pure Marine Collagen and stir until dissolved.
  8. Add fried shallots, celery, a squeeze of lime, and sambal if you like it spicy.
